Intake and Exhaust Duct Kit Installation Guide
This installation guide provides instructions for the Quest duct kit designed for the second-generation Quest 6-Series dehumidifier models, specifically Quest 506, Quest 746, and Quest 700. Ensure your dehumidifier part number matches one of these models, as this kit is not compatible with previous 6-Series units.
Exhaust Duct Installation
Parts Included:
- Exhaust Duct Adapter (1)
- 14″ Collar Plate (1)
- #10 Screws (6 new, 4 from dehumidifier)
Tools Required:
- Quest 6-Series Dehumidifier (Gen 2)
- T-25 Torx Bit
- 1/8″ Drill Bit
- Drill
Caution: Disconnect the dehumidifier from electrical power before beginning installation.
Caution: A dedicated duct system is recommended for each unit. The maximum recommended duct run is 25 feet.
